Please take notice that a special public meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 12, 2010, at 5:30 p.m. in the Manor Middle School Auditorium located at 2950 Charlestown Road, Lancaster, Pennsylvania.  The meeting is being held to review all relevant matters relating to the acquisition of approximately 44.48 acres of land currently owned by Christian Willis Herr, II.  The land is adjacent to Manor Middle School and is located in Manor Township and identified as Property I.D. No. 410-70753-0-0000.  The purpose of the special meeting is to discuss and solicit public comment about this proposed site acquisition related to the future use or construction of the property for school district facilities including but not limited to future elementary and secondary schools, as well as future athletic fields and facilities.
