OUR PHILOSOPHY
Penn Manor is a forward-thinking school district that encourages creative approaches to meeting the needs of all students, both academically and socially. We are known for our emphasis on technology in the classroom, student collaboration, agricultural education and technical and career training. We believe that everything we do should enhance our community, one student at a time.

With an average student population of about 5,400, Penn Manor School District is one of the largest districts in Lancaster County. Penn Manor spans 113 rural square miles to the east of the Susquehanna River and encompasses five municipalities: Millersville Borough and Conestoga, Martic, Manor and Pequea townships. As of 2020, total district population was estimated at 43,153. The corporate headquarters of both Armstrong World Industries and Turkey Hill Dairy are located within the school district boundaries.

Penn Manor students attend seven elementary buildings, two middle schools and one high school. Penn Manor currently employs 368 teachers and 250 support staff. District students have consistently scored above both the state and federal averages on the SAT and state exams. Over the past five years, about 70 percent of Penn Manor High School seniors have pursued post-secondary education.

All elementary schools serve grades K-6. The two middle schools enroll grades 7 and 8 and utilize a team approach designed around a core of teachers for math, English, reading, social studies, and science. The comprehensive high school program schedule is organized into four daily blocks for students in grades 9-12.  Located in Millersville Borough, Penn Manor High School is adjacent to the campus of Millersville University.
